Planning a visit to NEXUS Community? We'd love to have you! On this page, you will find the answers to the most common questions you may have prior to your visit. We're expecting you with open arms & hoping for you to become a part of our communities. No matter what, YOU BELONG.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
The moment you arrive, you will be greeted by some very excited people! We strive to make everyone feel at home at Nexus. You can expect the service to last about 1 hour, with good kids programs and helpful hosts available to answer any questions you may have.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Whatever is comfortable for you! Most people wear casual or business casual.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
We love kids. There will be a place for kids check-in before service. Kids under 6 go to their class before service. Kids ages 6-12 will be dismissed after a couple of songs.
WHAT WILL WE DO?
We encourage you to come a little early to connect with people. That's more important than just about anything. Our service will include a time of singing, reflecting, a message, and a couple of forms of response. We usually direct people to stand or sit as they are able. Please do what feels appropriate in the moment, those prompts are just encouragements. Our goal is to create a space for you to connect with God. Please bring a Bible. Some people may raise their hands up. Others may journal in a cell phone or take a picture.
